Problem
For many years, SFTP Server solutions for transferring files is hard to manage and very time-consuming to implement. This can result in losing intangible assets such as time resources; besides, such an organization does not have the unlimited time or the desired user, especially in small-mid size companies. In most cases, companies only want to transfer files remotely in a secure manner without needing to do complex configurations to any dependencies.
Solutions
A portable SFTP Server called “Porta SFTP Server” was initially created by a Data Analyst/Scientist Indvidual working in healthcare company. The latter is for the purpose of helping small-mid-size or even large organizations to transfer files securely. This allows companies to establish connections securely for the sake of file transfers to remote machine space. In addition, this solution is so easy to use that in ~2 minutes you are ready to connect any SFTP clients.
Besides, Porta SFTP Server enables subscribers to be fully independent as the software is stand-alone. The subscriber will never rely on cloud/outside activation during usage.
Value
Porta SFTP Server is a non-web stand-alone portable application, built to eliminate unnecessary time-consuming configurations such as web server settings, browser incompatibility, etc… Using Porta SFTP Server can be deployed within a few minutes, with the assurance that any credentials created are secured. In addition, you also have total control of encrypting its storage with a combination of Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and RSA Asymmetric Encryption.
– A short learning curve, easy deployments, and migrations to different machines
– Stand-alone software activation and no online or outside communication during usage
– Give you the peace of mind that the software is within your perimeter security controls
– Cost efficiency and no complex maintenance e.g during updates
– Easy-to-use user interface (UI) with minimal interactions
– Support any SFTP clients for file transfers such as WinSCP, FileZilla, etc…
– Support Secure Shell (SSH) sessions using e.g Putty
– Secured credentials storage & connections;
– And more…
Note. Automatic software update is NOT currently supported.
Future
PORTA SFTP SERVER will continue to conduct research, and develop products and services that complement its customers’ needs to improve operations productivity.
